Error
The content of index has been replaced by some plugin.
Cause
Some plugins are modifying the site’s index file.
Examples of plugins:
- Maintenance mode plugins such as “coming-soon” and “maintenance-mode”
- Plugins that redirect traffic away from the index page
Shifter cannot properly handle these types of plugins, which causes it to fail to generate artifacts.
Solution
Please deactivate any “coming-soon” plugins, “maintenance-mode” plugins, or plugins that redirect access to the index page.
If this does not resolve the issue or if you have any questions, please contact our support team.
