Changing the Language of Your WordPress Site

The default language for the entire site is English (United States), but you can change it at any time. To change the language for the entire site:

1. Log in to the Shifter Headless Dashboard

   Log in to the Shifter Headless Dashboard ( https://go.getshifter.io/admin/headless/).

2. Start WordPress

   Start WordPress (if it is stopped).

3. Log in to the WordPress dashboard and navigate to [Settings] ==> [General] Log in to the WordPress dashboard and

   Log in to the WordPress dashboard and go to Settings → General.

4. Check the current site language

   Confirm that the current site language is set to the default, English (United States).

5. Select the desired language

   Click the drop-down menu and select the desired language. In this example, select Japanese.

6. Verify that the new language has been selected

   The new language has been selected.

7. Save Changes

   Scroll to the very bottom and click Save Changes.

8. Verify that the changes have been applied

   The changes have been applied.
