Shifter Static now allows you to register custom domain names for your site. It supports both a single domain name and its www-prefixed version (†). If you are migrating or consolidating sites and wish to use multiple domains, please register each domain as a separate domain and switch between them as needed.

Permitted Patterns
The following patterns are permitted.
A. Naked (Zone Apex) domains and domain names with the “www” prefix.
Domain: example.com
Alternative domain: www.example.comB. Domain names with the “www” prefix and naked (zone apex) domains

Alternative domain:example.comProhibited Patterns
The following patterns are prohibited.
A. A naked (apex) domain name and a different domain name with the “www” prefix
Domain: example.net
Alternative domain: www.example.comB. A naked (apex) domain and a different naked domain name.
Domain: example.net
Alternative domain: example.jpC. Both domain names have prefixes
Domain: sample.example.net
Alternative domain: subdomain.example.net
