A. Unfortunately, it will not work. The Shifter Algolia
search integration does not work in a BASIC authentication environment. Since BASIC authentication blocks crawler access, it cannot retrieve data from the website to update records.
Q. My website has WordPress installed in a nested (subdirectory) configuration. Will the search function work?

search integration does not work in a subdirectory installation environment. This is because the crawler cannot retrieve data from a nested website.
