Thank you very much for your continued use of Shifter. We have received numerous requests from customers for an email sign-in feature, and we are finally implementing it.
System Maintenance Notice
To introduce this new feature, we will be performing system maintenance on the following date and time.
- Date and Time: January 19, 2017, 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. (UTC)
Maintenance Details and Impact
As part of this update, you will need to change your current Shifter password. Please do so when you sign in after maintenance is complete.
Shifter Team Activities During Maintenance
Simply put, we are replacing the system that stores user data. The current system allows multiple users to register the same email address. To enable the email-based sign-in feature, we need to replace it with a system where each user can register a unique email address.
What to Do After Maintenance
To use this new feature, you will need to reset your password after the maintenance period.
Affected Users
All users who signed up for Shifter before 6:00 AM on January 19, 2017, will be affected by this maintenance.
