How to Manually Deploy Artifact to a Live Site

This document explains the steps for manually deploying Artifact to a live site.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Shifter dashboard: Go to https://go.getshifter.io/admin/sites and log in.

  2. Go to [Manage Site]:

  3. Go to Staging: Click [Staging] in the left-hand menu.

  4. Select the Artifact to publish: Click the [Manage] button for the Artifact you want to publish. Make sure the status of the target Artifact is “Ready.”

  5. Click the [Publish to Live Site] button: Click the [Publish to Live Site] button to publish the Artifact.

  6. Click the [Publish] button to continue: On the confirmation screen, click the [Publish] button to continue.

  7. The artifact has been published:

  8. Check the website: Visit the website and verify that the changes have been applied.

That’s it—the artifact has been published!
