Requirements
To use TOTP, you must first install an authentication app on your mobile device.
Authentication Apps
Below are some recommended apps.
- Authy
- Duo Mobile
- Google Authenticator
- Microsoft Authenticator
- Last Pass SmartKey
- Or any other app that supports the TOTP algorithm
Setup Instructions
- Click the Gravatar icon in the upper-right corner of the dashboard.
- Click [Account].
- Go to “Two-Factor Authentication” and click the [Set Up Two-Factor Authentication] button.
- Select your preferred authentication method. We recommend selecting “Authentication App.”
- Scan the QR code with your authentication app and enter the 6-digit code.

Let’s Test It
- Log out or open the Shifter dashboard in an incognito window.
https://go.getshifter.io - Enter your login credentials.
- Enter the 6-digit code generated by your authentication app.
- …You can now access the Shifter dashboard.
