Overview
The following features have been added to Shifter’s WordPress admin dashboard: a feature that displays currently logged-in active members in real time, and a modal that warns of potential impacts on other users when executing “Generate” or “Stop” actions in WordPress. These features are designed to prevent accidents when team members are working on the same site simultaneously.
Feature 1: Active Member Display in the Admin Bar
The number and names of currently active members are always displayed in the top bar (Admin Bar) of the WordPress admin dashboard.

Note
This display is not strictly synchronized with “Active Users on the Shifter Dashboard.” It is a proprietary detection system based on activity within the WordPress admin panel.
If you confirm the presence of other members, we recommend coordinating your work with the team in advance.
Feature 2: Warning modal when running Generate / Stop WordPress
“Generate” (Site Generation) or “Stop WordPress” (Stop WP), a confirmation modal will appear if other active members are present.
If no other members are present
The standard confirmation modal will appear. Please review the details and proceed.
If other members are present
A warning modal will appear.
Cancel: Aborts the operation. Please coordinate with other members and try again.
Force Execution: Ignores the warning and executes Generate / Stop.
Important Notice
Executing “Generate” may overwrite content currently being edited.
Executing “Stop WordPress” will halt other members’ work environments.
The warning modal is displayed only once. If you select “Force Execution,” you cannot undo the action.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Am I included in the list of active users?
A. Yes, you will. If you want to check the number of people and their names excluding yourself, please subtract your own username from the list displayed.
Q. The display isn’t updating.
A. Please reload the page or wait about 30 seconds. Depending on your network environment, there may be a slight delay in updating.
Q. I’m still on the list even though I logged out.
A. If you logged out correctly, you should be removed immediately.
