Infinite scrolling is one of the requested features from Shifter customers. While it’s common on a lot of sites we may overlook how it works. Can it work on static sites hosted on Shifter? Let’s find out.
We’ve examined some infinite scrolling plugins with Twentyninteen theme. All of the options we’ve tried were testing as purely static HTML, JS, and CSS created using Shifter’s static site generator for WordPress.
What is infinite scroll?
Instead of having to click a link to get to the next set of posts infinite scrolling will pull the next posts automatically into view when the reader approaches the bottom of the page.

Our tests are with Twentyninteen theme, so on other themes, these plugins might not work as you expected. Of course, you can test them on a free trial account, and feedbacks are always welcome.
