WordCamps are a big deal for us. Meeting other members of the community, seeing familiar faces and learning about the latest WordPress developments is always a great experience. But we have to admit, nothing beats a good after party and this year’s WordCamp Europe after party looks amazing!
This year’s theme for the WCEU after party is the 1980s, a huge decade in Berlin’s history. The decade that ended with the fall of the Berlin Wall also saw the invention of the home computer, The Empire Strikes Back, and an explosion of beautiful graffiti across Berlin. The 1980s also saw an explosion of new ways of thinking about software, particularly open source software. Without open source, there would be no Shifter, so this is especially important to us.
The venue for this year’s after party is the same as the main conference, The Estrel, which means it’s going to be extra easy to attend. For the full details, be sure to check out the official WordCamp Europe post (it’s awesome) and be sure to let us know if you have a special costume planned (check out the costume shop guide from the official post!).
We can’t wait to see you there!
